"I was about to lose my home to a fraudulent property claim. The advocates at Lok Nyaay drafted my reply, appeared in court, and stayed with me through six hearings — at no cost."
Lok Nyaay Foundation is a collective of advocates fighting for the voiceless — through free legal aid, RTI activism, health camps, and grassroots justice across the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Founded by a collective of practicing advocates in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Lok Nyaay Foundation operates at the intersection of law, social welfare and human dignity. We believe justice is not a privilege of the literate or the affluent — it is a constitutional birthright of every citizen.
Registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, our work spans free legal counsel, Right to Information advocacy, health outreach, women and child welfare, environmental protection, and education for the underprivileged.
To dismantle barriers between citizens and the legal system — providing free counsel, raising awareness, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the marginalized in their pursuit of rightful justice.
A Bharat where every individual — regardless of class, caste, gender or geography — has equal access to law, knowledge and opportunity. Where the constitution is not a relic but a lived promise.
From courtrooms to community halls, our programs are designed to address the full spectrum of socio-legal challenges faced by ordinary citizens of Delhi.
Every camp, every consultation, every PIL filed brings us closer to a society where law serves the people — not the other way around.
Pro-bono legal counsel, RTI filings, and PIL support for those who cannot afford representation.
Free medical camps, awareness drives, mental health programs and support against medical negligence.
Adult literacy, RTE enforcement, scholarships and educational support for the underprivileged.
Safety workshops, vocational empowerment, rescue and rehabilitation programs.
Health screenings, legal awareness drives, and relief distribution in slums and resettlement colonies.
Tree plantation drives, pollution awareness, and resource conservation initiatives.
Defending civil liberties, anti-corruption campaigns and grassroots justice movements.
Helping citizens file Right to Information requests and Public Interest Litigations.
Skill development workshops to enable economic independence for marginalized communities.
Drawn from our founding charter, these are the commitments that guide every initiative we undertake.
Promote national integration, communal harmony and universal brotherhood across all communities.
Provide free legal awareness, aid and representation to the poor, women, children and weaker sections.
Utilize the Right to Information Act and Public Interest Litigations as tools of accountability.
Organize health camps, blood donation drives and awareness programs against medical negligence.
Champion the cause of education — from primary literacy to vocational training for sustainable livelihoods.
Protect the environment through plantation, conservation and pollution control campaigns.
Safeguard the rights of senior citizens, laborers, consumers and the differently-abled.
Encourage research, conferences and workshops on socio-legal issues of national importance.
These voices belong to people whose names you'll never see in a law report — but whose lives changed when justice finally arrived at their doorstep.
"I was about to lose my home to a fraudulent property claim. The advocates at Lok Nyaay drafted my reply, appeared in court, and stayed with me through six hearings — at no cost."
"My daughter never went to school until the literacy camp came to our basti. Today she reads me the newspaper."
"The free eye camp diagnosed my mother's cataract. Six weeks later she was operated on through a referral they arranged. We could never have afforded it."
"When my husband threatened me, two women advocates came to my home, sat with my family, and helped me file my case. I am no longer afraid."
Every beneficiary moves through the same dignified process — regardless of who they are or where they come from.
Every case begins with a confidential conversation. No fees, no forms, no questions about caste, religion or status.
Our advocates determine whether the matter calls for a civil suit, criminal complaint, RTI, PIL, mediation or referral.
We represent the beneficiary pro-bono — drafting, arguing and following up across every hearing till resolution.
We pair every case with a workshop — on rights, RTI, women's safety or livelihood — so the next problem is solved by the citizen themselves.
